Indication: head ache due to external wind
Key symptoms: head ache with chills, fever, nasal discharge, thin-white tongue coat,
floating pulse, hay fever with runny nose and white watery discharge
Ingredients dosages given for decoction:
Chief: Bo He/Mint 24g for wind head ache
Deputies: Chuan Xiong 12g for Blood stagnation/head ache, Bai Zhi 6g for Yang Ming
head ache, Qiang Huo 6g for Tai yang head ache, Xi Xin/Assarum 3g for Shao Yang head ache
Assistants: Jing Jie 12g and Fang Feng 4.5g for exterior symptoms
Envoys: Gan Cao/Licorice root 6g and Lu Cha/ Tea for clearing heat
