Various Formulas for common colds, constipation, infections, stomach ache, etc. Dosages are given for herbs in decoction.:

San Ju Yin for early superficial stage of warm febrile disease with key symptoms of cough, itchy throat, slight fever, slight thirst, whitish yellow mucus, and rapid superficial pulse
Ma Huang Tang for Wind-cold exterior excess with chills, no sweating, aversion to cold, wheeze, superficial tight pulse, etc.
Yin Qiao San for early stage warm febrile illness with sore throat and fever
Jiu Wei Qiang Huo Tang for Exterior Wind-Cold damp with Interior heat with key symptoms of chills and fever, head and body ache/pain, muscle/tendon ache, stiff neck, slightly bitter taste in the mouth and thirst.
Ma Xing Shi Gan Tang for Wind-heat or heat in Lung due to Wind-Cold turning to Lung Heat
Chuan Xiong Cha Tiao San for head ache due to external wind

Bai Hu Tang for Qi level heat: High fever, big sweat, strong thirst and pulse
Zhi Zi Dou Chi TangConstrained heat in the chest and epigastrium causeing symptoms of irritably, stifling sensation in the chest, insomnia, etc.

Ge Gen Huang Qin Huang Lian Tang for interior heat with or without exterior condition

Xiao Cheng Qi Tang Purgative for constipation with distention or for early stage dysentery
Da Cheng Qi Tang Purgative for bowel obstruction
