Functions/Indications:
Promotes sweating and releases the exterior to relieve fever due to Wind-cold or Wind-heat
Wind-Cold with stiff neck and upper back.
Wind-Heat with interior heat causing dysentary
Raises the Yang qi to treat acute or chronic diarrhea due to Spleen Qi deficiency or damp-heat dysentary.
Useful to treat early stage measles or for measles with slow eruption
Generates body fluids and stops thirst for "Xiao Ke" AKA wasting and thirsting from diabetes.
Lowers Blood Pressure; Gall stone pain, head ache, tinnitus
Dosage in decoction: 9-15g Notes: This plant is invasive in the southern US/ Georgia.
