Functions and Indications:
Moistens the Lung, stops cough due to Lung Yin injury or deficiency. Helps
release thick sputum. Indicated for coughing blood.
Supplements Stomach Yin to generate fluids, thereby relieving dry tongue and
mouth from Stomach Yin deficiency.
Clears heat Yin deficient or Ying level heat.
Moistens the intestines to relieve constipation.
Dosage in decoction:3-15g
