Pu[3] Gong[1] Ying[1] "Grandpa Pu's Flower" Dandelion Hb. Taraxaci Mongolici cum Radice Taaraxacum mongolicum
Properties: cold bitter sweet
Channels: Stomach Liver
Functions: Clears Heat and detoxifies fire poison
Reduces abscesses, especially in the breast, and dissipates nodules
Promotes lactation
Also useful for damp-heat jaundice.
Dosage in decoction: 9-30g
For Acute Mastitis: decoct herb and use solution to wash breasts or grind the
fresh herb and apply the juice to the breast. The daily internal dosage for acute
mastitis is 30g of the dried herb in decoction.
