Quan Xie "Complete Venom" Scorpion Bathus Martensi

Properties: salty, acrid, neutral, toxic
Channels: Liver
Functions and Indications: Extinguishes wind, stops tremor and convulsion
Detoxifies poison and dissipates nodules; used topically for poisonous sores, swelling and scrofula
Opens the channels and stops pain for stubborn headaches, migraines, wind-damp Bi syndrome with joint deformity.
Used together with Wu[2]Gong[2] for convulsion, head ache, paralysis and itching.
Dosage: 2-5g in decoction or 0.6- 1g powder.
Preparation: put in clean water. soak in salt to remove toxicity.
Cautions: not for use during pregnancy
not for use with Wind due to Blood deficiency
long term use damages the Blood
