Ru[3] Xiang[1] "Milk Fragrence" Frankincense Gummi Olibanum
Properties: acrid bitter warm
Channels: Heart Liver Spleen
Functions: Moves Qi & Blood stagnation and stops pain for traumatic injury especially, used with Mo Yao (Myrrh) and Hong Hua. Also used with other herbs for dysmennorhea, arthritis, stomach pain, and lumpy skin infections. Frankincense can also be used externally on ulcerated skin lesions.
Dosage in decoction: 3-10g, start at 6g/day
Contraindications: pregnacy and weak digestion
