Functions & Uses: Expels Wind & clears Lung Heat for Wind-Heat External Pernicious Influence EPI. Wind-Heat EPI is characterized by fever, rapid floating pulse, cough, sore throat, thin yellow tongue coating.

Also for Heat & Dryness Injuring the Lung, Stops cough associated with common cold or chronic dry cough.

Clears Liver heat and brightens the eyes for Liver or Wind Heat causing red eyes, or painful, itching eyes. Also helpful for nourishing blood to relieve dry dyes caused by Liver Yin Deficiency, therefore this is a good choice for this symptom when associated with menopause.

Distribution:
This trees is found often in Central Florida. The fruits are very good to eat also.
Dosage: 5-10g in decoction
