Wu[2] Gong[2] Centipede Scolopendra

Properties: acrid, warm, toxic
Channels: Liver
Functions and Indications: Extinguishes wind, stops spasm and convulsion for encephalitis, severe itch, seizures due to acute or chronic childhood convulsion or tetanus, pistons, lock jaw. Used together with Quan Xie
Detoxifies poison and dissipates nodules; used topically for poisonous sores, snake bites, lumps in the neck.
Opens the channels and stops pain for stubborn headaches, migraines, wind-damp Bi syndrome.
Dosage: 1-3g in decoction or 0.6- 1g powder.
Cautions: not for use during pregnancy
