Properties: sour warm pungent, bitter, salty, sweet
Channels: Lung Kidney Heart Liver
Functions:
Stops cough, stops diarrhea, stops accessive sweating, replenishes Qi, promotes fluid secretion, tonifies the Kidney, and calms the spirit.
Indications: Chronic cough and asthma, nocturnal emission, spermatorrhea, enuresis, frequent urination, chronic diarrhea, spontaneous sweating, night sweats, thirst, shortness of breath with weak pulse, diabetes cause by internal heat, palpitation, insomnia.
For Chronic Hep B and C: Lowers SGPT/ ALT enzymes in Liver; releives pain in the Liver area
Dosage in decoction: 1.5-6g
Cautions: Not for mixed exterior and interior excess Heart patterns
not for use in early stages of cough or rashes
