Indication: Formless Constrained heat in the chest and epigastrium, Lingering heat
in the Qi level
Key Symptoms: Irritable, stifling sensation in the chest, insomnia, slightly
yellow tongue coat, slippery rapid pulse
Functions: Clears heat, relieves irritability, and insomnia
Ingredients with dosages for decoction:
Zhi Zi/Gardenia flower 9g clears constrained heat in chest
Dan Dou Chi/fermented Soy bean 9g reduces irritability and vents heat pathogen
Can also add herbs to calm the shen/spirit
